How to get the most from a digital swatch book.

The swatch books cover the full 3M DI-NOC, LX Hausys BENIF, Cover Styl and Metamark MiA catalogues, so you can browse every finish in one place. They are the fastest way to build a shortlist, and they are designed to be used before you speak to anyone.

A simple way to shortlist

Pick the room and the surface first. Then choose a finish family, such as wood, stone, solid colour or metallic, and pick three or four finishes to compare. Note the brand of each, because the brand tells you the warranty and the best applications. Our film library lets you filter by brand and finish.

Are digital swatches colour accurate?

They are a very good guide to pattern and tone, but no screen shows a finish exactly as it will look on your wall. Screens vary in brightness and colour, and a finish changes with the light in your room. Always order a physical sample before you decide, and look at it in daylight and with the lights on.
