Every kitchen is different. Here is what we look at before we put a number on yours.
Number of doors and drawers
The biggest factor. Every door and drawer front is measured, prepped and wrapped individually. Send photos for an accurate count.
Door style and profile
Flat-panel and slab doors are the quickest to wrap. Shaker doors with an inset frame take more care, and highly detailed profiles take more again.
Film brand and finish
Films differ in range, warranty, finish realism and how hard they work. 3M DI-NOC, LX Hausys BENIF, Cover Styl and Metamark MiA each suit different kitchens, and we choose with you. The complete kitchen wrapping guide goes into finishes in more depth.
Worktop and splashback
Adding the worktop widens the scope and transforms the room. Most clients who see it wrapped as part of the full transformation wish they had included it from the start.
Location within Cambridgeshire
Based in Wilburton, Velfi covers all of Cambridge and Cambridgeshire with no travel surcharge for most locations, including Cambridge city, Ely, Soham, Newmarket, Huntingdon and surrounding villages.
Surface condition
Surfaces in very poor condition, with significant damage or previous badly-applied vinyl, may need more prep. This is identified from photos before quoting, never discovered on the day.

Edge finishing to 10mm
On every door, film is wrapped 10mm onto the rear as standard. Not trimmed flush to the edge. This is the technical detail that determines whether a wrap lasts 2 years or 10.
10-year warranty
Every installation is backed by a 10-year warranty confirmed in writing before we leave site. Not a verbal assurance. A written commitment.
Full RAMS documentation
Every job comes with a full risk assessment and method statement, plus proof of insurance, on request. Useful if you need paperwork for a landlord, managing agent or employer.
Samples before you commit
Physical film samples sent before any deposit is taken. You handle the exact finish in your own kitchen before making a final decision. No surprises on installation day.

These are the three things that decide whether a wrap lasts 10 years or peels within 12 months, so compare what each quote actually specifies, not just the total. A quote that does not name the film, describe the prep and confirm the warranty in writing is hard to compare fairly.
We count the doors, drawers, panels and worktops from your photos, agree the film and finish with you, allow for the preparation your surfaces need, and then fix the total in writing. The quote is the price, with no provisional sums and no extras on the day.
No. Send a few photos and a rough door count or just the photos and we can count from those. A detailed fixed quote comes back within 24 hours, without a site visit. If the final measurement on the day reveals any significant difference, that's discussed before work starts. Never presented as a surprise on the invoice.
Yes. There's no requirement to wrap every surface. Some clients wrap just the upper cabinets, just the island, or just the worktop. The consideration is visual consistency. Partial wraps work well when the unchanged surfaces are in good condition and the wrapped surfaces are a clearly distinct element. It's worth a conversation before deciding.
A deposit is taken after samples have been seen and approved and before materials are ordered. The balance is due on completion. Payment by bank transfer. Full details are included in the quote document before anything is agreed.
